Frequently asked questions
LiftLine is early, so the honest answer to some questions is still “not yet.” The goal at launch is narrower: help Part 61 CFIs, small schools, and student pilots stay aligned between lessons without turning instruction into a rigid script.
What is LiftLine?
LiftLine is a Part 61 flight training app that keeps CFIs and student pilots in sync from one lesson to the next.
Is LiftLine available now?
LiftLine is in beta with selected flight schools and is not open to the public yet. You can join the waitlist and explore the demo with fictional student data.
What is the launch scope?
LiftLine is focused on Private Pilot training at launch. Additional ratings, certificates, and endorsements are planned later.
How much will LiftLine cost?
Pricing is not public yet. We are testing simple beta packaging with early schools and CFIs, and waitlist members will hear details before any paid rollout.
Is LiftLine free for CFIs?
That is the direction we are exploring, but final packaging is not public yet. LiftLine is designed so CFIs can drive adoption because it makes lesson prep, feedback, and student alignment easier.
Does LiftLine replace CFI judgment?
No. LiftLine supports lesson planning, feedback, study, and progress visibility. CFI judgment remains the final authority.
Does LiftLine sign endorsements?
No. LiftLine does not sign endorsements or determine official checkride readiness. CFI judgment and required FAA processes stay outside the app.
What does ACS-aligned mean?
It means lessons, study materials, quiz questions, CFI grades, and practice recommendations can point back to the same FAA Airman Certification Standards task.
Is LiftLine flight school management software?
No. LiftLine is not scheduling, dispatch, billing, maintenance, payroll, or an all-in-one school ERP. The launch focus is the training loop.
Is the demo real student data?
No. The demo uses fictional sample data only. Do not enter real student information into the demo.
